Dopo oltre 40 anni, tornano in Piemonte i Piani Verdi, programma regionale rivolto alle piccole e medie imprese con sede in Piemonte per la concessione di contributi negli interessi su prestiti per la realizzazione di investimenti materiali in agricoltura e, a partire dal 2012, per la conduzione aziendale.
Fra le misure ammissibili, i Piani Verdi prevedono finanziamenti per Investimenti Agrari nei termini di acquisto macchine ed attrezzature agricole nonché per l'acquisto e l'installazione di dispositivi di sicurezza, ai fini dell'adeguamento di macchine ed attrezzature agricole
